Newport Transit Station Grand Opening and Open House
The transit station will be a critical stop in the Red Rock Corridor, increasing transportation options and mobility. As ridership grows, the station’s flexible design will accommodate enhanced transit services within the Red Rock Corridor. This event is a celebration of the opening of the Transit Station and an opportunity to provide your input and get engaged in the Red Rock Corridor Implementation Plan.
Please join us to celebrate this milestone for transit in the Red Rock Corridor. The event will include light refreshments, a short ceremony, and a tribute to all partners that made this project successful.
The open house will be an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the Implementation Plan and bus rapid transit. Activities will be available to provide initial input on transit service options and station area planning along the route. All members of the public are invited to learn more about the planning process, provide input on service and stations, and share how they would like to use the Red Rock Corridor in the future. Project staff will be available to answer questions.
